Guildford Action Furniture Project says...

WE NEED QUALITY DONATIONS!
Things we really need right now:

| Chests of drawers | Sofas | Beds (single and double) | Table and chairs | Fridges | Cookers |
We welcome good quality items of unwanted furniture or electrical goods.
Ideally, we would like you to deliver items to our warehouse and if you decide to bring us items we would appreciate a telephone call beforehand. Or you can email us with pictures of your furniture (furnitureproject@guildfordaction.org.uk)
If you call or email to arrange collection, please tell us:
- where you are located
- (we usually only collect from the Guildford area: see the map on the "About Us" page)
- if any soft furnishings are fireproof
- we cannot take them if the fire resistant tag is not attached
- whether you are happy to give a small donation to cover our collection costs, petrol etc
- this is typically around £15
Our service includes:

collection from inside your house - therefore avoiding weather damage if left outside

telephoning in advance to fix a convenient time
-
an experienced crew who can advise you on whether items can be accepted

insurance for public liability

PLEASE NOTE:
We only take items that are in good, re-saleable condition.
That means nothing which is badly marked, stained, scratched, damaged, torn, ripped, smelly, threadbare, damaged by animals or left out in the rain.
Upholstered items must comply with fire regulations.
We cannot guarantee to accept any particular item from a phone discussion alone - we do reserve the right to refuse items we have not seen in person.
Our driver has the right to refuse unsuitable items.
